Berkeley Porter

she/her

Hello, I’m Berkeley, a UVM MSW student interning with the Vermont Wellness Collaborative through May. I know that life can feel overwhelming sometimes, and reaching out for support can be a big step. My goal is to meet you where you’re at and create a caring, supportive, and calm space where you can feel safe being yourself. I take a person-centered approach to therapy and believe that you are the expert in your own life. Together, we can explore what you’re experiencing, identify what you want to work toward, and find approaches that feel meaningful and manageable for you. There is no right way to show up in therapy. Laughter, tears, or both are always welcome, and you can talk about what’s on your mind without fear of judgment.

I have experience working with adults during periods of crisis, as well as with young adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, and loss. I also incorporate arts-based methods and draw from narrative therapy to explore the stories and experiences that have shaped how you see yourself and your life. I believe therapy can be a space to make sense of what you’ve been through, consider different perspectives, and recognize strengths that may be easy to overlook. Most importantly, I want our work to feel collaborative and grounded in what matters to you. I’m currently accepting new clients and would love to connect.
