Dani Mortimer, MSW

she/her

“You are the expert on you, and it would be my honor to walk beside you on this journey of healing and self-discovery.”

There is a core Self within you that already knows how to heal, and as a therapist, Dani aims to support you in connecting and listening to this core Self so that your innate wisdom can shine through.

Dani received her MSW from the University of Vermont and follows a strengths-based, social justice oriented and person centered approach. She mainly draws from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She is informed by postmodern, queer, feminist, systems, post-colonial and critical race theories.

She has worked in an integrated medical and behavioral health setting and provides support in navigating increasingly complex systems to assure people are able to meet their basic needs. Today’s world can be a difficult place to live, and we need every person we can to come together as a community with love and courage to change the systems which cause suffering. We need YOU! Together we can remove internal and external blockages so your light can shine through once again.
