Genevive Shortt, MS
I offer counseling to adults who are looking for meaningful change in their lives. Clients may show up with anxiety, life transitions, relationship concerns, struggles with self-esteem, grief, shame, or a sense of feeling stuck. My goal is to provide a space that is warm and collaborative: a safe place to land and explore. Folks can expect to be deeply listened to and held in their experiences. I will bring honesty, transparency, and care to our work. Therapy may be challenging at times, but you do not have to navigate that process alone.
My approach is relational, person-centered, and primarily grounded in Narrative Therapy. I believe that our experiences and the stories we carry profoundly shape how we view ourselves and move about the world. Together we can slow down, become curious about these stories, and explore whether they fit into the life you want to create.
