she/her
As a former educator, I work with youth and adolescents in authentic, collaborative, comfortable, and creative ways. In addition, the focus of my work is to support people of all ages who identify as female, queer, neurodivergent, BIPOC, and/or under the trans umbrella. My hope is that through therapy, my clients will be further empowered by the belief in their unique abilities and find strength in their identity and individuality.
My style of therapy angles toward feminist and humanistic approaches where there is an authentic, respectful, creative, and collaborative connection between therapist and client. Using the uniqueness of each individual’s personal strengths, we can work to increase self-awareness to recognize client-identified goals and to promote self-directed growth.
Having been an English teacher and librarian, I have a deep rooted belief in the power of finding your voice and telling your story. I want to hear your unique narrative to uncover your authentic voice and lead you toward the acknowledgement that you are the authority and author of your own life story.
